Bread & cultured butter
Sourdough baked in the dying heat of last night's fire. Butter churned Thursday, smoked salt.

One menu. Whatever the farms two concessions north pulled out of the ground this week, put over live coals and served at seven tables.
The kitchen
Everything comes off a single hearth — no gas line, no induction, one fire that gets lit at two in the afternoon and burns down through service. It makes the kitchen hot and the timing unforgiving, and it is the entire reason the food tastes the way it does.
The menu is written on Monday after the farm call and printed Tuesday. If the parsnips are better than the squash, the squash doesn't run. We'd rather change the menu than serve the second-best version of it.

Visit
We're the narrow storefront between the framer and the bike shop. There's no sign — look for the fig tree in the window. Street parking after 6pm, municipal lot around the back on Pine.
